North by Northwest
North by Northwest is a sharp and gripping thriller from legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. In it, advertising executive Roger Thornhill (played by Cary Grant) is mistaken for spy George Kaplan, and thrown into a desperate hunt for the real Kaplan. Cast also includes Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. The film was released in 1959. The film contains tense and perilous situations, frequent drinking and smoking, and mild gun violence. Common Sense Media says, “Witty Hitchcock thriller piles on suspense and innuendo.” Not Rated.
